Clothing prims

I looked over some of my fav blog feeds today and I see much more clothes with prims, I've only so far seen flexi skirts, belts, and other accessories. I've seen cloaks and I was not much of a fan of the ones I've seen so far, but this jacket i saw on juicybombs blog was very cute and appears well made. The link to see from the creator of the jacket. It just makes me even more excited to play around some more with prims and see if I even like it as much as I like making textures, I have been working with making a texture of a swim suit which would have a mini flexi skirt with it, I hope it turns out just as good as what I am envisioning in my head once it is finished. On the texture note I've been working on the winkles of some that are almost finished I hope to start on revamping a few other projects from last year giving these templates better shadowing and to add winkles. I am hoping to show off what I've gotten so far and maybe I can work on making shorts.

Anxious for Flexi Skirts

I had been looking all around the web and inworld to see more about flexi skirts, but on Saturday I received an email of an even from one of the learning sandboxes I am a part of flexi skirt class it said. I was so excited to get started and learn more about flexi skirts, and I know very little with the only thing that I've learned was how to make a pearl necklace and templates. So I waited the day that the class was going to be with my L$ to pay for the class. Anxious and excited I had even wanted to get in-world sooner then the time, way sooner. Though I had other things to do for RL, taking my dog out for a walk, tiding up the house, and a few other things. Until the time for the class came...
A few minutes after the class started bang lost connection, no idea what happened. And was unable to get back for the rest of the class. I was so heart broken, thankfully contacting the instructor for the class I was sent info about what was covered and I am working on making my first flexi skirt. I plan to make a mini skirt for a swimsuit that I am currently making the template for.

AVPainter

Much like finding some dollars stashed away somewhere in my purse in RL I had went though my computer finding AVPainter, which I had totally forgotten that I had even had it and decided today that I had to open it and upload some templates. When I had opened the templates into AVPainter (which I had my eyes shut tight scared to death that they would be worst then what I thought they where. I was truly amazed at myself compared to the shadow of previous shirts it was amazing. I did see much that I have still have to work with but with looking at what I have accomplished so far I think I can actually get it to how I would like to see it, even if it will be frustrating at times. Though the only concern that I have is once I upload these templates into SL to see how the shadows and highlights I am making for the chest area and the winkles would look like would they be too dark or too light. I hope that it will turn out alright when I do upload. I did have a hard time figuring out how to do the shadows for the white zodiac t-shirt. With the first few times the texture flat I could barely see any shadow, let alone the highlighted areas. I'm not even sure if it is right though it is a far better improvement then what I had when I first started it.

Updated Zodiac T-shirt Plus light jeans

Looking at the Zodiac shirt the winkles are extremely hard to spot the easiest to see is on the back of the shirt. I also wonder to myself should I put in less of the winkles on the jeans, I do know the shadows for the butt needs to be taken care of about maybe less shadow then what is on it now.

My first lace tank top

I still need to work on getting the lace tank top an extension with a bit of lace on it as well as getting the jeans taken care of with the seams, pockets, and other things. Well I hope within the next few weeks I will have it all taken care of and can show you all the progress made. I am really happy how the lace tank top looks so far and am very proud of myself and can't wait to continue on with it.

Nature

I while going through some pictures that I had taken while on a past vacation I came across a pretty little flower alone in a sea of green leaves in the background and decided to play around with the pen tool, a tool that I often dread using so playing around with it on Saturday morning I finish and looked at it and was quite surprise with myself doing more then what I thought I would accomplish. I felt that I could do more with the been tool and decided to go out to a local park to take pictures of the foliage that I could take, no flowers sad to tell due to the season of winter. I dragged my husband with me out and he takes the camera, that he hates, and takes pictures while I walk our little dog who seems to want us to walk at a faster pace and together just stops to look at him. I did get the camera back and was able to take some close up pictures that I wanted to play around with later on.

I am happy to say after loading much of the pictures up into my camera I was able to learn and relearn much.

A New Year, A New Decade, New

Well it has been a week into the new decade & new year. New year resolutions have been worked on with a passion, while some are forgotten or lost just like my keys. I've got a new look in world and the blog has also gotten a makeover.

I have been working on a template for a lace tank top just working of the shadows of the winkles and the shadows, may go back to work on the first shadows I did for it. Taking pictures of clothes I've seen in RL for reference which is just fun to do so far. I am also going to be redoing the zodiac T-shirts making the T-shirts for both genders, but on request of my husband to make a jacket with his sign, so I will be working on a jacket version as well.

Lace Tank top at this time (with out winkles or other shadows)....

I am also playing around with template of skins with photos of myself and husband, don't think I will do anything with the skins, but at least I can say, "Yea, I tried it out." It has so far been interesting and have relearned much from old classes that I've taken in the past along with new things. I had been inspired when I watched a video of a skin being made of Angelina Jolie on you tube, though it was a bit fast I recognized some of what the person was doing and wanted to play around with it.
